Terms, refunds and contact

Plain rules, written to be read once. They apply to this site, to the listings on it and to the API. Last updated October 15, 2026.

Who runs this

Worthly is an independent, individually operated service: one operator, no sales team, no account manager and no call centre. The operator is based in the United States. Every listing is read by a human, and every message is answered by one. Write to hello (at) worthly.si — or use the e-mail link if your browser is happy to open it.

We do not hold domains and we do not hold money: this site is an information and listing service, never a party to a sale.

What this site is not

Nothing here is investment advice, valuation advice or an offer to sell or buy anything. A range is a negotiation input. Asking prices on Names for sale are set by their owners — not by us, and not by our range.

1 · Availability and appraisal

Availability comes from the official .si registry (RDAP at rdap.register.si) confirmed by two independent DNS resolvers, and the appraisal comes from the rules published on How it works. Both are best-effort:

  • A name reported as available can be registered by someone else a minute later. Confirm at your registrar before you pay for anything.
  • A range is an estimate from sparse data. We say when the confidence is low, and the estimate can still be wrong.
  • We cannot know who else is bidding, what a strategic buyer will pay, or what a trademark holder will do.
  • If our check contradicts the registry, the registry wins — tell us and we look again.

2 · Listing a name

  • You must be able to sell it. List names you control. We check each one against the registry before it goes live.
  • No trademarks, no typosquats, no somebody else's name. We refuse those, and we answer the refusal instead of ignoring it.
  • Your price, your buyer, your deal. Buyers reach you where the name is already listed — the link you give us. You settle by escrow or a registrar transfer you control. We take no commission and hold no funds.
  • Ownership badge. Add the DNS TXT record we e-mail you (or submit from an address on the domain) and the listing is marked owner-verified. Verified listings are the only ones eligible for featured placement.
  • Taking a name down. Your manage link does it instantly, no e-mail required. You can also change the asking price there at any time.
  • Your e-mail address is never published. Buyers see the name, your asking price and your listing link — never your inbox.
  • We may remove a listing that breaks these rules, that we cannot verify, or that turns out to belong to someone else — with a full refund of any fee paid.

3 · What you pay, and what you get

PlanPriceWhat it covers
Free$0One name on Names for sale, with your asking price next to our independent range. Stays up until you remove it.
Popular$9One name, pinned to the top of the list, a spot on the homepage and priority in the “On the market now” block, for 90 days from approval. Then it drops back to Free — nothing renews.
Portfolio$39The same, for up to 10 names in one submission, one payment and one manage link. 90 days from each approval.
API Starter$12One key, 1,000 requests per day, the full sales index in one call.
API Pro$29One key, 5,000 requests per day, a daily CSV of the sales index.

Every price is a one-off. Nothing renews, nothing is charged automatically, and there is nothing to cancel. Payment is by PayPal PayPal or USDC (USD Coin)BNB Smart Chain USDC on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20 only — USDC sent on any other network cannot be recovered). The site itself is free to use, always.

4 · Refunds

  • Free listings: nothing was paid, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Popular ($9) and Portfolio ($39): refunded in full if you ask before the listing goes live, or within 14 days if it never went live or we turned it down. Once a paid listing is published and its 90-day window has started, the fee is earned — but if we show the wrong name, the wrong price or the wrong link, we fix it or refund it.
  • API keys ($12 and $29): refunded in full within 14 days if the key was never used. Once a key has made requests, the fee is earned.
  • How to ask: e-mail hello (at) worthly.si from the address you paid with, and include the PayPal transaction ID or the USDC transaction hash. We answer within two business days and refund to the same method, usually within five.
  • Chargebacks: please write to us first. We would rather fix it, and a chargeback on a key that has been used costs both of us time.

5 · The API

  • Free use is 10 requests per hour per IP, no key, no sign-up. The pages on this site do not count against it.
  • A paid key is a personal credential: keep it to your own projects, do not resell it, and do not run it from a pool of shared IPs to disguise volume.
  • Credit to worthly.si is appreciated where the data is shown publicly.
  • We may throttle, cache or reshape endpoints to keep them fast for everyone. Nothing here is a guaranteed SLA.
  • The sales index is compiled from venues and public reports; the verified/reported label on each row says how it reached us.

6 · Data, cookies and changes

  • No account, no password, no tracking cookies. What we store and why is on Privacy policy.
  • Submission e-mail addresses are used to send you the manage link and, if you ask, the payment reference. Nothing is sold or shared.
  • These terms can change; the date at the top of this page changes with them. If a change is material for something you already paid for, we e-mail you before it applies.
  • Questions, corrections and complaints all go to the same address: hello (at) worthly.si. A person reads them.
One address for everything. Listing questions, refunds, ownership checks and API keys: [email protected] — or hello (at) worthly.si if the link does not open. Most replies go out the same day.
